An OSCP certified Penetration Tester and seasoned Bug Bounty Hunter The XSS Rat is a growing YouTube sensation who shares his wealth of knowledge in short “byte-size” videos. He has grown a community otherwise known as the Rat Pack who collaborate on bug hunting projects, share research and help each other day to day. On the side the rats bond by playing CTF’s regularly. 

 

Through the growth of the community he has attracted a couple of highly skilled security engineers who enjoy building CTF boxes… So yet again The XSS Rat has decided to give back to the community with a fun filled afternoon of hacking, videos, music and chilling in this awesome CTF competition which is proudly sponsored by TryHackMe.

 

There will be tears, there will be laughter but above all there will be prizes! 3 VIP vouchers for TryHackMe are up for the first 3 that get from boot to root in this challenge. There will be a further VIP voucher up for grabs for the best write up. For those of you that don’t know about TryHackMe it is the top resource for learning cyber security in a gamified environment and is suitable for beginners all the way through to experienced cyber professionals looking for a challenge.
